GUNNIES GETTING RESTLESS: Colchester County residents have a lot of issues they want the area's MP to look into. Cumberland Colchester Musquodoboit Valley MP Scott Armstrong recently held town hall meetings to hear what's on the mind of local constituents. More than a dozen people gathered in Bass River last week. Hot topics included garbage dumping, infrastructure and the long gun registry. "The registry is a big concern," said Armstrong. "People have said that (the Conservatives) campaigned so hard to get rid of it so why did we not do it?" Armstrong said it's only a matter of time. "There was a minority government and it was defeated but it will be taken back to the legislature in the fall. It can be a slow process ... but (the legislature) can't stop it."...
