J'ai eu une mauvaise nouvelles conceranant l'achat de ma nouvelle carabines 110 fp 300 win Pas disponible pour le canada ....Il m'offre parcontre une 7mm 10fp a la place ??

Mais a premiere vue elle semble pareil a la 110 fp alors je me demande la difference c'est quoi alors ???
Ca me prend des infos avant d,acheter ca ..

Hummm, très étrange ton gars, normalement les 110FP c'est des action longue, 300, 7mm etc... et les 10 FP sont des action courte, .308, 300 wsm, 7 wsm

Ce que ton gars te propose c'est pas plustot une 7mm WSM ???

Don't let the price of this rifle fool you. Savage is able to keep the price down by by using a fairly cheap stock, and the trigger isn't that good, but these rifles are known for their accuracy. I have seen some of them come right out of the box shooting 1/2 MOA. The trigger is adjustable down to about 3 lbs. Its funny how much great accuracy will make up for. Fully expect these rifles to shoot well below 1 MOA.
The 10FP was introduced a while back and it is a "short" action version of the 110FP (the 110, of course, being a long action). Keep in mind that a savage short action is more like a medium action. While it is shorter then their long action, it is still quite a bit longer then a remington or winchester short action. It is a marked improvement, and the 10FP's shoot the same as the 110FP, and both are offered in a left hand model, which seems to be popular.

It has been corrected on the website. You are correct, he long action FPs are indeed the 110FP. I have the 308 FP in stock and the 110s in both 7mm and 30-06 will be here Monday morning. Your price on a 10FP with folding stock I think is around $950.00, do you have the Savage product code for that rifle? It would be about a 1 month wait for it.

En voilà un autre qui parle de ces 10fp/110fp et ils mentionnent bien qu'elle est disponible en 7mm. Magnum...donc Savage sont eux-meme dans les potatos!!

Savage has thrown its hat into the "tactical " rifle arena in a big way. Not only have they come up with a rifle that "looks" tactical but will also get the job done When we first received these rifles, one in .308 the other in .300 WM, we had to get quality glass for them. We mounted a Leupold scope on the .300 and a Leatherwood ARTII on the .308 and set off for the range.

Using Blackhills' match-grade .308 and Remington's boattail in the .300WM, we started Shooting 3 shot groups at 100 yards to zero. Luckily this did not take long and we were able to get down to business.

We found that each rifle is more than capable of shooting 1 MOA groups and probably even tighter ones if we could put them in a vice. These rifles also performed extremely well out to 500yds, which was the furthest distance we were able to shoot. Someday will try them further.

The rifles both had a 24 inch heavy-weight button rifled barrel with recessed target style muzzle. The rifles weighed in at 8 ½ pounds before mounting the scopes and had an overall length of 45 ½ inches.


All the metal parts of the rifle have a Matte black, non-reflective finish for reduced glare. The only "non-tactical part of the whole rifle was the silver Savage Arms logo on the bottom of the pistolgrip, easily fixed with paint, or indelible marker. The trigger group is removable and the trigger offers some adjustment, though I recommend that this be done by a competent gunsmith. The bolt of the rifle is laser engraved with the savage logo and rifle model. The lockup of the rifle felt great when it came out of the box and now, after over 500 rounds still feels great.

Of course the rifle is drilled an tapped for scope mounting and is free of iron sights. The mounts for this rifle are available from just about everyone who makes scope mounts.

A some real nice features of the stock are the pillar bedding, the extra swivel stud for mounting a bipod and the fact that it is a composite material.

Savage Arms claims that the 110FP was "Designed for the "TACTICAL" specialist who demands pinpoint accuracy in a high power rifle". They are right. Put this up against other stock "tactical rifles" and you will soon realize that you do not need to spend $700 to $1000 to get a surgically accurate rifle.
