Calibre magnum.

Dernierement nous ( partner de chasse) avions une discussion concernant le calibre 300 magnum.Chacun avait sont opinion.Ma questions est:quel est la difference entre une 300 magnum et une 300 wsm?

The .300 WSM was the first of Winchesters short magnum family, released in 2001. Remington released their 7mm and .300 short action ultra magnums in the same year and a year later, Winchester released the 7mm and .270 WSM cartridges. Brass for the .300 WSM was designed to withstand much higher pressures than traditional belted magnums, enabling the small case to either duplicate or surpass .300 Winchester Magnum factory loads. The ability to utilize these high velocity factory loads without having to hand load was one aspect of appeal to hunters who adopted the .300 WSM. One of the most appealing factors of the .300WSM included the short, portable light weight rifles. The .300 WSM achieves what its designers intended, duplicating the velocities of the .300 Win Mag from a short, lightweight rifle platform. Generally, the savings in length are approximately 2.5” when using a 24” barrel as opposed to the optimal 26” barrel length for the .300 Win Mag.

Et les deux sont de tres bons calibres mais ma preference sera toujours en 300 win mag,j'ai ce calibre depuis presque a ses débuts et j'ai toujours été satisfait de celui-ci.

J'ai les deux et je les aime bcp mais question de feeling mais je préfere ma 300wm dans une Tikka 65 à la 300wsm en tikka T3.  Depuis que J'ai acquis la M65, je pense me departir de ma t3 mais j'hésite toujours.
Si vous aviez ce genre de dilemme, laquelle vous laisseriez partir entre les deux ?

Je prefère, c'est esthétique la 300WM coté mune et la T3 coté rifle ..
Tu démontes et tu remontes pour faire une T3 en 300WM .....
