The idea of a true big bore air rifle with some real bonk is catching on the USA.
AirForce has just such a gun, and I had a chance to fire it at Media Day
I happened to be walking their firing spot, and someone passed me some info and invited me to try it.
I'm glad they did stop me, because this is quite the gun.
The booth attendant was watching my reaction as I fired, and commented that I looked surprised by the noticeable recoil.
Certainly not painful by any means, but much more recoil than expected from an airgun.

Est-ce que je me trompe ou la vélocité du 45 acp avec du 200gr est autour de 1000fps et son energie autour de 500 ft-lb?

J'ai fouillé un peu et il semble que le poid des plombs disponible pour cette arme à air va de 137gr à 230 gr.

Quand ils parlent du 1000 fps et 500 ft-lb, ils spécifient que ça varie en fonction du plomb... Je me demande à quel calibre d'arme à feu ça peut se comparer...

Les specs ressemblent au 45 ACP en terme de vélocité et énergie. Rendu la, c'est à se demander si ca en vaut vraiment la peine

Très belle innovation par contre! Beaucoup plus silencieux qu'une arme à feu. Et surement pas de recul, ou presque.
